Good day people! 2008 is here and we're on the move. First and foremost, big ups to Liquid Lifestyle for taking care of us in our trip over there and for giving us favorable and productive days. It was a ball meeting DJ Jazzy Jeff, Andre Harris (Dre & Vidal production team), Carl Higgins, DJ Numark of Jurassic 5 (his set with his toys is crazy!), Madskillz, Darnel, Coldcut from Germany and the rest of people we met and politicked with in Taiwan. Bear, thanks for the weed. Hahahaha. Psylent blew the crowd away with his set at the HP international product launch that was held simultaneously around the world. Psylent's set will be up in YouTube. B-Roc, Chrizo and Traumatik are looking to work with Jeff & Machi's next album, Taiwans primetime hiphop act, in the first quarter of 2008.
"SoulFiesta" was celebrated last January 20 in accordance with Lipa's fiesta in Hotel La Corona, Batangas. The day saw performances by God's Will, Projekt Kulture, Nimbusnine, Kenjohns, Hotnixx, Sunny Blaze and more. Tippin' The Scales will be released on the 3rd or 4th week of January. We are currently finishing up the CD cover details and having things manufactured. Program starts at 11pm, the music video was directed and edited by August Espino, the music produced by The Beatmonx. We are inviting everyone to come see the much awaited video that is going to make a stomping finishing this year and for hiphop's next year. The So Deep video trailer is being shown now on YouTube. We are encouraging you to embark on this long awaited journey with us as we take in more gigs to close out the year. Third World Productions (Bacolod) and The Community will be staging a show this October 19 at Bacolod Chicken North, Bacolod City. This is in part of the city's celebration of the annual Masskara festivities. It's a first of its kind in Bacolod city and we are bringing in a good show. Performers for that night will be Nathan J, Nimbusnine, God's Will, Aero, Artstrong, Dcoy, PKSO and more. Tickets are sold for only 99 PHP. Get ready cause we're bringing in a storm there. The Community will be promoted with live interviews and performances during our stint there, some TV shows, cable shows, and radio stations will be part of it so keep it locked. Props for Aero and his Team for keeping up with all the bullshit. The event will be sponsored by FUBU. Thank you. There will be cds to be given away and a whole lot more if you watch the show.
Nimbusnine will be featured as artist of the month in Vibe entertainment's Upscale Friday with an upcoming interview over at WAVE 89l.1, this October 4; 9am-12pm. And an explosive performance on October 5 in Jaipur as well. He is also part of the Burn Magazine tour which is happening around the metro all throughout the year. Speaking of Burn Magazine, Sinag's music is on the magazine's webpage podcast and a Sinag article will arise by December of this year.

The Community 2007 "Yabang Pinoy" theme this year will be brought to you by Yabang Pinoy, DJ Bell, Nathan J and Turbulence Productions. The event will be held at Zi Pangu Bar in Mabini, Malate from April 18- May 30, every wednesday. Catch and enjoy this experience of pushing hiphop to the forefront with broader shoulders than any other show for the past years. There will be an entrance fee of Php 150 or better yet, any purchase of any cds at the gate guarantees your entrance.
The Community CD from last year will be launched during the duration of this years event so stay tuned as this year will be full of The Community related products. This year, the organizers have opted to have the producers pick 2 emcees from the raffle to rock over their beat. This allows the organizers to put in a bigger list of emcees for variety. Hope to see y'all there. B-Boys are mos definitely welcome.

Whats good hiphop? 2007 is at hand, and we are restless. Here are some updates regarding your favorite local indie label. GRAE is coming to full circle, just shot the video for its single "You Don't Know" directed by Carby Salvador and is in its mastering stages. Nimbusnine and God's Will is working with FUBU as flag bearers of this brand of clothing line, hoping to change and stir it into something pro-artist. B-Roc's T-Shirt imprint So Brown is well on its way.
Turbulence Productions will be coming out with an Official Pirated CD release entitled Nimbusnine & Friends this January 2007 . Which includes tracks such as the Nimbusnine and Kanye West joint "Gorgeous", Hotnixx's "Makapangyarihan", Butchoy and Smugglaz's "Wag Mong Subukan", Syke's "Ang Pirata" and more. This is not a move towards piracy, its against the grain pro artist movement. If you could figure out the pros and cons behind this then you'll see where we're gearing to. Its going to be available soon only in your favorite small shops, tiangges, and flea markets throughout Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
The Community CD is done, and is just awaiting distribution with the help of Toti Dalmacion and his Terno Recordings company. The organizers were keen into deciding where they want place the product and wanted to be backed up by this art preserving label. It is with great delight that we are awaiting their decision and we are grateful for they have been wanting to also bridge the gap. PEACE!!!

Hotnixx collaborated with Blacksheep of Gulpe De Gulat to hook up the theme song "Real Pinoy Fighter" for ABS CBN's new reality tv show of the same title. The trailer has been airing and its premiere episode will be on October 9, 11pm. The music video will be available for viewing soon. Did you know that Hotnixx started his career under the guidance of Madd World Entertainment, and Blacksheep is from Dongalo Wreckords. Which makes this song all the more fruitful for the scene. Real recognize real.

The Community CD is undergoing post production and will shortly be available to everyone who took part of the event and the movement. This CD is a foundation of how the movement in the Philippines had a breakout year in terms of commaraderie and productivity amidst all the commercial pitfalls. Turbulence Productions recently just signed a contract with Tincan Mobile for a telecommunications system that will allow us to update you via a subscription on your cellphones. Turbulence Productions have also signed to a feldging online MP3 community named MOBIUSLIVE which will be launched this coming October.

First off, we send our thanks to the people who came to the video shoot yesterday for Nimbusnine's "So Deep". We take pride into having you take part of the things we are doing. The video is directed by August, he recently did Sugar Hiccup's "Bleed" video. Thank you sir for sharing the passion, vision and artistry. Also, Nimbusnine's "Island Loving" video, done last year, is now up on You Tube, so is the Chrizo produced single "First Wifey" by ILL-J. Do give us feedbacks when you see it.
The Community CD, is being pieced up as we speak. Better watch out for it, the tracks are amazingly written and done with a new spark of fire. Its a classic with songs like "Stars" featuring Kim Fabros, "Jeep" featuring Nyko Maca, "Semento At Buhangin" with God's Will and a whole lot more. In Chrizo news, he's is currently giving musical and album direction to Mizteazas 2Tay, with her album tentatively entitled "Pages". All is lovely people. We had so much fun in Taiwan above just rocking it there. We got to connect with Loon & Jin, mad footage from the show in Taiwan will be put in The Community DVD we are working on. The stage was set for unadulterated hiphop. It was for me and the promoters the best hiphop show they gave to Taiwan. We are just so humbled to be part of it. Thank you for the prayers, some of the pictures are at our picture section, do view it and there will be more to come.
The Community is definitely pushing through. The show, the CD and the DVD will all come to play this year. We have been getting positive responses from people who want to participate in any way. We have reached out to all camps as to not to alienate anyone who has something to contribute. It's a promising event. We have sent emails of the AD we're about to put on air. It's gonna be a good show with so much passion and heart put into it. We have already finalized the list of contributors for the CD and we did it as impartial as we could. PEACE!! Keep it moving.

The show headlines Psylent, Loon of Bad Boy Records fame (I Need a Girl Pts. 1 & 2) and Jin The MC. We have been crippled by the sudden selling of our then server to a bigger company. They refrubished some files which gave us a hard time to update it. But now that this site is back up, we'll update it and keep everything else up to date. First off, for all who went, voted and supported Turbulence Productions, thank you very much. We recently brought home the most uncontested award given out by Empire Entertainments 2nd Hiphop Awards. We won Independent Artist(s) of the Year, once again, thank you very much. We have brought so much work and you've been there to support and recognize these moves. We had been nominated for more awards but winning this enables us to share it with you and all the people that comprises the independent movement. Salamat.
We were able to successfully give away 100 cds of B-Sides REMIXED last March 4, 2006 @ the Hiphop Awards. For all those who have a copy do give us feedbacks. Those are free, limited copies and will never be re-produced again. This year was definitely humbling, last nights performance was the best I've seen. PHD remains classic. Everybody was so bent on sharing the music, good sign for 2006. In other B-sides news, we are having a soft re-launch of it alongside the launch of Mike Swift's On Da Lee Low VCD released by Empire Entertainment this tuesday, the 20th of December at Manila DJ's Club located at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. Production from Chrizo, B-Roc and Traumatik will soon appear off an indie film documetation for graffiti, watch out for it. Chrizo's heavily working on the Charity Album, B-Roc has produced more than half of Mike Swifts Legendary CD, plus we're constantly finishing songs for the Turbulence and Nimbusnine releases for the first half of next year. J-soul's song writing has recently been recognized as his song "Never Give You Up" was sang by Ayen Laurel in her 2nd album, Thankful. We are generating more collaborations outside the genre to promote music.

Nimbusnine will be live on RX 93.1 this saturday to conclude his month long HIP26 artist of the month of May venture. He will be on the airwaves at 10pm. Interview, live performance and the debut of Island Loving will also commence during the program. Happy valentines people. Hope you had a good one. Psylent's and B-Roc's short Taiwan stint was just humbling all over again. Over two thousand people came to watch both shows. Liquid Lifestyles had outdone themselves again with the last two parties they threw for The Luxy. Liquid Lifestyles and Turbulence Productions gave The Luxy and Taiwan one of the biggest club nights they have ever had in recent memory. Love and respect to Elroy, Annie & Royal for making the trip twice as fun. We'll be back soon.

The year has been good. Very productive indeed, we have come along way and with that we would like to thank you and everyone who have supported our ideals. Thank you again. We have great things lined up for 2005.
AMPON's year opener show will be on January 7 @ Yero Bar, Greenhills. Free admission for everybody. Catch Psylent and Arkane spill poetry into form tonight at Conspiracy Bar @ Visayas Ave, Q.C. and another one on January 13, @ Saguijo Bar, Makati City. Turbulence Productions will be part of the Anniversary celebration of Jigger's Locked Down Entertainment on January 28. Please support your independent hiphop.
These venues are only mediums for us to show our art and gratitude for your support. Turbulence Productions full length LP is in the works. Nothing fancy but will be worth the wait. Thank you again and we hope you enjoyed your holidays.

Congratulations to DATU for winning the AMPON "V.S." Emcee battle last night. Thank you for all those who came and supported. Last night, was also the debut showing of the indie film "Benny" from AMPON and is in the midst of screening for this year's Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival. "BENNY" is a film about a day in the life of an independent hiphop artists in Manila.

AMPON presents SUBFLEX: a Progressive Music event showcasing AMPON artists. Bent on giving you an experience in a whole new aspect of this life we call music, AMPON elevates the benchmark of what underground should be. This will be held on October 7, 2004 at Dusk, Kamagong St. Makati City. Show starts at 10pm with FREE ADMISSION.

July 28, 2004 Psylent's weekend performance for Liquid Lifestyle's "Babewatch 2004" in Taiwan was a blast. The after party was rocking, people loved every set he put out. We're working on another weekend show there for the next coming months. Keep your fingers crossed, we're gaining grounds. Thank you for all the prayers and support. It was a humbling experience.
